2022 AGM Minutes

KFA (UK) AGM 24th September 2022 Minutes at the Holiday Inn, Burnley.

Present: Bill Kaye, Jonathan Kay, Kay Relf, Julie Turner, Hilary Rosankiewicz, and 5 members.

Pat & Geoff Fitzpatrick, Steve Yates and two members attended by Zoom.

Apologies: Janet Lythgoe who has resigned from the Committee

1. Minutes of 2021 AGM These had been circulated and were agreed.

2. Chair’s report Bill Kaye, thanked everyone for their ongoing support and work for the Association.

3. Secretary’s report Kay had not received any correspondence.

4. Treasurer’s report The Treasurer provided the accounts and said that we now had one account with NatWest Bank. Barclays had given us £50 as compensation for inept handling of the previous accounts. The report was approved, and Julie was thanked for her work. The current funds are £2,172.89.

5. Membership Secretary’s report Kay Relf is currently Acting Membership Secretary and that currently we have 98 members, 10 of whom are Honorary/Life members.

6. Kay Times & Kay Bulletin editor’s report Jonathan reported that both publications were being published regularly. He is happy to accept articles from members about their research and findings.
