The Different Spellings

The predominant spelling in Lincolnshire was ‘Key’. There was one family in Skirbeck spelt ‘Cay’, and a very small number of instances of ‘Kay’ and ‘Kaye’, evenly spread across the county and therefore with no discernible pattern. No attempt has been made to present these graphically.
